GENIE Material Lift pricing advertised on this website includes Dock-to-Dock ground freight shipping cost on all new equipment items shipped directly to your destination from the manufacturer’s F.O.B. point. This pricing is for all destinations in the forty-eight contiguous United States. This offer does not include shipping costs required to deliver repair/replacement parts ordered at our website.

Shipments are made by LTL Common Carrier or UPS Standard (Ground) Service. Freight payments cover shipping and delivery only to a commercial address with a loading dock or forklift truck for unloading. Not included in pricing are charges for: delivery to a commercial address without a loading dock or forklift truck, residential delivery, inside delivery or re-delivery. Delivery of Your Order
Products sold on this site are often large and heavy, so if you have any question about getting your item(s) delivered, please call us: 800-570-6890. We attempt to furnish our vendor with a contact name and phone number at the destination and to have that information on the shipment bill-of-lading, so that the carrier can contact you, if necessary, about delivery. Please furnish an address that will be open during normal business hours. Carriers charge for re-delivery if they attempt delivery and your facility is closed or not staffed. Please note that an LTL carrier’s truck driver is not required to unload your shipment, only to bring it to the rear of the truck for off-loading.
GENIE Super Hoists and Load Lifters may ship by LTL or by UPS, and we can specify delivery by UPS to most addresses to avoid a delivery problem. Please advise us in advance if your UPS shipment must be signed for.
All other items ship by LTL Common Carrier.
- COMMERCIAL ADDRESSES: If you presently accept delivery of motor freight items, there should be no delivery issue(s) at your destination. If your address does not have a loading dock or forklift truck you may prepay the cost of Lift-Gate Delivery or pick the shipment up at the carrier’s terminal. You may also arrange for shipment to a third party. Carriers will charge for inside delivery when required.
- RESIDENTIAL ADDRESSES: LTL Carriers will not bring long tractor-trailers into residential areas. Lift-Gate Delivery is available and can be prepaid prior to shipment. Shipments can also be picked-up at the carrier’s terminal.
- PICK-UP FROM CARRIER’S TERMINAL: This is usually arranged at the time of your order. If you need to be in touch with the freight carrier, we can assist you in obtaining an address and phone number. Note that shipments need to be picked-up promptly to avoid storage charges.
- LIFT-GATE DELIVERY SERVICE: This service is available at destinations in residential areas or areas that do not have any unloading capability. Service is usually on a shorter wheel-base truck with a hydraulic tail-gate for lowering the load to the ground. Note that the truck driver is only required to get the shipment to ground level; it is your responsibility to remove it from the lift-gate and/or move it on the ground as needed.
Shipment Notification is sent when your UPS or motor freight shipment is underway. We will e-mail you with the appropriate tracking number and tracking web-site.
Inspect your shipment carefully on receipt for damages. If damage is evident, note it on the delivery memorandum and keep a copy. Promptly notify us and send a copy of the memo with an explanation of the damages. If damage is hidden contact us ASAP for assistance in how to proceed or for additional questions about delivery
Shipments to Canada require special handling to move the products cross-border. Freight charges may be slightly higher to some addresses. If you will call us, we will gladly provide a firm freight quotation to your destination and explain the procedure for bringing these products into Canada for delivery. Shipments must process through the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) and you should expect to pay the appropriate GST, PST or Harmonized Tariff. Products sold at this site are covered under the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) and are not subject to any duty to import into Canada. Our invoice will properly describe the equipment, the location of the US manufacturer and the HS Tariff Classification Number. We welcome the opportunity to work with you. We accept payment by major credit card: Visa, MasterCard, AMX and Discover. You may also pay with corporate or bank check by mail.
Material Lift Sales Inc. (MLSI) shall charge applicable sales tax for orders purchased at this website that are to be delivered to addresses in North Carolina and in California (7.5% CA State Tax Rate). Buyers are responsible for all sales taxes, use taxes or other taxes on orders shipped to any other state.
Your receipt of an electronic or other form of order confirmation does not signify our acceptance of your order nor does it constitute confirmation of our offer to sell. MLSI reserves the right at any time after receipt of your order to accept or decline your order for any reason.
Please use care in your order selection to avoid the need for a return. We will gladly help you in choosing the right item for your application. MLSI will accept returned items under conditions as follows: 1) Buyer must give notice in writing by e-mail or U.S. Mail within ten (10) days of delivery. 2) Return Authorization must be approved in advance by MLSI. Unauthorized return shipments will be refused. 3) Returns must be shipped in/on the original shipping carton or pallet and must be prepaid (collect shipments will be refused) to the address designated by MLSI in Raleigh, NC. 4) Upon receipt MLSI will refund the original purchase price less: (a) a 22% re-stocking charge, (b) freight from original shipping point to your destination, (c) any costs required to repair the item to return it to its original condition.
After your equipment is delivered , we will register the product warranty with the manufacturer and send a copy to you. We will also assist you with a warranty claim, if the need arises. Genie’s warranty period is for one (1) year on parts and labor. Warranty does not cover the cost of shipping repair parts.
